MY ENSEMBLE, for school and thrifting.

Silence + Noise (Urban Outfitters.com) cardigan, Dad's shirt, Talula (Aritzia) skirt,
Superstore tights, black chunky socks, Moccasins from a local shoes repair.

Sorry about the bad quality photos, I'm using my webcam until I get a digital camera again. I wore this to school and I'm on the way out the door to go to Value Village, there is a sale so hopefully i find some good pieces! Below is just a picture of how i'm storing most of my clothing during house renovations, it works so far HAHA.
Yes that is a hockey stick.

Nothing to do on a Sunday night.

I am a House md fan, just be aware for future posts. So tomorrow, the 8th, there is a new House episode that's airing. This episode is unique because it's a day in the life of the Dean of Medicine. I'm a huge Cuddy fan, well at least who she was from season 1 through 5. She has definitely changed. But i'm still excited to see how this goes.

7 songs that make a good week.
If you are into the weird/alternative music give these songs a listen:
Clap your hands say yeah! - Tidal Wave
Bright Eyes - Perfect Sonnet
Bloc Party - Blue Light
Mother Mother - Hay Loft
Noah and the Whale - 5 years time
The National - So far around the bend
Devendra Banhart - Chinese Children

I NEED BUY NEW BLACK SLIM JEANS!
I'm thinking some BDG cigarette jeans from UrbanOutfitters.com, they are true black and a really slim fit.

A Perfect Day To Start a Blog

I finally built up the courage to start a blog, because for the first time in a while I actually have somewhat interesting things to say. My name is Amanda, I'm currently fifteen, I live with my parents, Go to high school, and my house is under construction so I'm pretty homeless. I'm completely new to this, I don't know how to promote my blog, and I don't know what you guys would like to see, so suggestions would be good.

STORY TIME: I went out to brunch with my family and on the way back to the car, we passed by a small shoe repair store. 'Mom let's just quickly stop here' so we walk in (I'm wearing these canvas top sneakers and there SO dirty/distressed, my mom hates them but I love them, sentimental value man) This cute little Asian man comes out and asks if we see anything we like, So I tried these amazing moccasin booties on. My mom said she liked them better than what i had on and they were more appropriate for this winter weather. Long story short, she bought them for me!

Sorry about the bad quality cell phone pictures, my camera is broken.
I've wanted boots like these for a while now. I'm a sucker for anything that's Native American-esque (Moccasins, Feathers, wolf prints)
Here is just a closer picture of the details. The pattern at the top is a nice touch, I really like the delicate thin fringing. Also they are hand made in Canada which I love!

Oh By The Way:You wont be getting any "outfit of the day" photos until we get a new camera, I think that's soon though.

I'm Also thinking of making a DIY cut-out t. With the concept of a spine, Like maybe cutting out the general vertebrae shapes down the back of the shirt?
